The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating data models, developing dashboards and reports, and enabling actionable insights for business decision-making. This core development role requires expertise in Power BI features and functionalities, focusing on report creation, data visualization, and optimization. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models based on business requirements. Implement DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and Power Query for efficient data transformation. Connect Power BI to various data sources, ensuring secure and optimized data retrieval. Optimize the performance of Power BI solutions through efficient data modeling and query tuning. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand reporting requirements. Maintain version control and documentation for all development work. Ensure data security and governance standards within the Power BI environment. Qualifications and Skills: Mandatory Certification: Power BI certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate or equivalent). Extensive experience with Power BI desktop, service, and embedded applications. Proficiency in writing complex DAX expressions and Power Query scripts. Strong experience with relational databases, SQL, and ETL processes. Ability to translate complex business needs into intuitive and actionable reports. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred Skills: Experience with other Microsoft BI stack tools such as SSRS, SSIS, or SSAS. Knowledge of Azure Data services integration with Power BI.
