Sr. Salesforce Data Cloud Engineer End Customer: Amtrak Location: Washington/DC No H1B Job Description : We are seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Data Cloud Engineer to lead and enhance customer data initiatives for a dynamic Randstad client in Washington, DC. This role is pivotal in implementing, managing, and optimizing Salesforce Data Cloud to unify, segment, and activate customer data for personalized engagement. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in Salesforce Data Cloud, a strong understanding of complex data architectures, and the ability to collaborate across marketing, sales, and IT teams to drive data-driven strategies and insights. Key Responsibilities Implement and configure Salesforce Data Cloud to unify and segment customer data. Design and execute data ingestion processes from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy, scalability, and compliance. Collaborate with marketing, sales, and IT teams to define data requirements, use cases, and business outcomes. Build and maintain customer segments and profiles to support targeted, personalized engagement. Utilize Salesforce Data Cloud features to enhance customer journeys and propose acquisition and retention strategies. Establish and maintain data governance and quality standards across the Salesforce ecosystem. Analyze data to create actionable insights, reports, and dashboards for stakeholders. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to data integration and activation. Support segmentation activation through email and marketing solutions. Mentor junior team members and promote Salesforce Data Cloud best practices. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience. 9+ years of experience with Salesforce platforms, Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), or similar solutions. Proficiency in data management, ETL processes, and data modeling. Deep understanding of data privacy regulations, including PII, GDPR, and CCPA. Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant Certification (required). Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud (preferred). Expertise in Marketing Cloud Personalization, Evergage, or Interaction Studio is a plus. SAFe/Agile development experience and proficiency in Informatica PowerCenter for ETL workflows.
