The candidate must have experience as an administrator rather than as a help desk support specialist. The focus is on the Solarwinds service desk software suite not the doing of help desk support. Another key concern/need the client has is for someone in this role to optimize processes and procedures, especially equipment inventory from a new hire to retrieval of the equipment at off-boarding and documentation of every step. Administration of the client's corporate Service Desk application, Solarwinds. Manage the development and implementation of more in-depth ticketing processes and procedures Lead process improvements and manage the systems processes, templates, reports, and documentation, especially around deployment and support of inventory of software, hardware, and peripherals. Establish beginning-to-end processes and tracking of inventory from onboarding to offboarding. Participate in reporting for audits Work with all help desk leadership and technicians in WV, MI and CA.
