The other 50% is to gather the product requirements and implement it in the NPA system. Candidates cannot be IT Focused must have investment management or wealth management business products Senior Agile Project Manager NYC, NY The successful candidate will be managing the NPA Program activities and deliverables by coordinating with the business and NPA department to ensure any issues or open items are closed and resolved. The candidate will also be acting as a liaison between our business and technology partners, with specific focus on driving the delivery of an enhanced NPA application. In this role the candidate will be responsible for working with stakeholders to analyze, document, prioritize business needs and perform UAT testing prior to production deployment. In parallel, the candidate will partner closely with our IT Scrum Master and Chapter Lead to deliver on the mandate. Key Responsibilities Provide NPA Department support of the Program activities and follow-up with the business to address issues and close open items. Project manage key NPA Program initiative by coordinating with the business on the requirements and deliverables Provide business analysis coverage for NPA IT initiatives by identifying, documenting, and scoping key application requirements to meet business need Translate high-level business requirements on multiple, complex applications into detailed functional specifications that can be processed by a development team Perform feasibility analysis, scope projects, prioritize deliverables, recommend alternative solutions and project strategies where appropriate to align to changing business requirements Work as a liaison between business unit and delivery team in all phases of development from product definition to deployment Actively participate in agile scrum meetings to ensure project progress and smooth execution Understand and articulate NPA vision and strategy, ensure that technology solutions are successfully aligned with the business goals and priorities Work daily in the Firms Jira platform to define project epics, tasks, and manage the scrum board as appropriate Perform UAT testing prior to production deployment and validate post deployment Coordinate globally dispersed development, QA, and deployment teams Maintain a strong understanding of industry and enterprise-wide trends Manage NPA Program activities and deliverables Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Project Management, Finance or related field required Strong knowledge of financial products, especially Wealth Management and Investment Management At least 5-7 years of experience as Project Manager / Business Analyst Self-starter. Proven ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects with minimal supervision. Can manage a complex ever changing priority list and resolve conflicts to competing priorities Strong understanding of the Financial Services industry and content lifecycle relating to Risk, Regulatory, Financial Products, and FinTech Applications & Services. Relevant work experience with business requirements definition and management (end to end), structured analysis, process design, use case documentation. Strong analytical, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements. Strong communication skills both verbal and written. Capable of collaborating effectively across a variety of IT and Business groups, across regions, roles and able to interact effectively with all levels. Strong organizational skills with ability to effectively multi-task in a high pressure, fast-pasted environment to manage significant case load within short timeframe Previous experience working with an Agile/Scrum delivery methodology and a proven track record in delivering solutions under this methodology. Ability to manage multiple Projects effectively, prioritize deliverables and to understand technical challenges. Good personal skills. Ability to deal with difficult situations/individuals gracefully. Ability to influence decisions/ mindsets. Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to identify where focus is needed and bring clarity to business objectives, requirements and priorities. Technical appreciation and general understanding of data warehousing, business intelligence, web and other multi-tiered applications. Agile Product Owner certification (nice to have). Familiar with Agile Ceremonies (nice to have).
