JOB SUMMARY FOR BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST: We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with expertise in process improvement, data analysis, and business requirements gathering. The ideal candidate will be proficient in tools such as Visio, Azure DevOps, SQL, Power BI, and Tableau, and have experience with system integration and Agile methodologies. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, documenting business processes, and ensuring effective stakeholder communication. Strong problem-solving, leadership, and project management skills are essential for success in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. RESPONSIBILITIES FOR BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST: Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in business processes and recommend solutions, utilizing technology when appropriate. Data Analysis: Analyze complex data to identify trends and insights for decision-making and strategic planning. Solution Design: Work with IT and technical teams to develop solutions that meet both business and technical requirements. Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary liaison between business users, IT teams, and vendors to ensure accurate project implementation. Project Management: Lead business analysis efforts, manage timelines, track progress, and provide reports. Documentation: Create detailed documentation such as business process flows, use cases, functional specs, and test plans. Testing & Validation: Support quality assurance by developing test cases, reviewing plans, and participating in system testing. Risk Management: Identify risks, collaborate with stakeholders on mitigation plans, and ensure project success. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE FOR BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST: Bachelors Degree or equivalent. Ideally, majors include Physics, Math, Computer Science, or Information Technology Management. 8+ years of experience in senior Business Analysis, Business Architecture, Solutions Architecture roles in Purchasing, Supply Chain, and/or Logistics System areas. Experience with enterprise architecture modeling tools. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS FOR BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST: Business & Data Analysis: Break down complex processes, identify improvements, analyze datasets, and provide data-driven insights. Problem Solving & Process Mapping: Strong critical thinking, process modeling (Visio, Lucidchart), and workflow analysis. Requirements Elicitation: Expertise in gathering and validating business requirements via interviews, workshops, and surveys. Documentation & Reporting: Proficient in creating process docs, functional specs, use cases, user stories, and test cases. Technical Skills: Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, Azure DevOps, JIRA, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, system integration, and APIs. Project Management: Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), risk management, stakeholder engagement, and time management. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication, ability to translate technical concepts, and present to diverse audiences. Leadership & Collaboration: Lead cross-functional teams, mentor junior analysts, and foster collaboration across departments.
