Please review our job opening below and kindly send us the updated resume ASAP along with the details of consultants; Please add [email protected] in your distribution list Job Title: SAP Test Program Manager Location: LA Area (Rosemead, Pomona, Santa Ana)-Onsite Job Type: Contract To Hire Utilities Industry Test Strategy & Planning : Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, plans, and schedules for SAP application implementations, upgrades, or enhancements, tailored for the utilities industry. Test Management : Oversee the full lifecycle of the testing process, including test planning, execution, defect management, and reporting. Ensure that testing efforts align with project goals, timelines, and business objectives. Team Leadership : Lead a team of SAP testers, test leads, and external testing resources. Provide guidance, mentoring, and training to junior team members. Stakeholder Collaboration : Work closely with project managers, business analysts, developers, and functional leads to ensure alignment between business requirements, SAP configurations, and test cases. Test Execution : Oversee the execution of various test types (e.g., functional, regression, integration, UAT, and performance testing). Ensure proper test data setup and accurate defect tracking. Quality Assurance : Monitor and enforce quality standards throughout the testing process. Conduct root cause analysis for defects and work with relevant teams to ensure resolution. Defect Management : Track and report defects using industry-standard defect management tools. Lead defect triage meetings and drive timely resolution. Reporting & Metrics : Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on test progress, test results, risk analysis, and issues. Develop and present testing metrics and KPIs. Change Management : Manage test cycles in coordination with ongoing change requests and project updates, ensuring that testing is updated to reflect any scope changes. Risk Management : Proactively identify testing risks and mitigation strategies. Work with the project team to ensure appropriate corrective actions are taken to maintain testing quality and timelines. Continuous Improvement : Stay current with emerging testing tools and methodologies, specifically those applicable to SAP in the utilities sector, and integrate these into the testing process as applicable. Qualifications: Education : Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced certifications in SAP or Project Management (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate, PMP) are a plus. Experience : Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in SAP testing, with at least 5 years in a managerial role overseeing test programs or large-scale testing efforts. Proven experience in managing SAP test programs for utilities industry clients, with a deep understanding of utility-specific SAP modules (e.g., SAP IS-U, SAP PM, SAP CRM). Strong experience with SAP testing tools (e.g., SAP Solution Manager, Test Automation tools like Worksoft or Tricentis). Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project management methodologies. Skills : Extensive knowledge of SAP modules, testing methodologies, and best practices. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills to work effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams. Expertise in test case creation, defect management, and test reporting. Proficiency in test management and reporting tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM, Quality Center). Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. Strong leadership skills with experience in managing diverse and distributed teams.
