Hi, Role: Network Architect Location: San Mateo, CA (Onsite) Mphasis If you are looking for someone with a deep technical background in Cisco networking, Azure Cloud, and Data Center infrastructure, and can lead complex network and cloud architecture projects, this could be an excellent fit. Key Responsibilities: Network Assessment: Hands-on experience with network assessment for Data Center networks (Cisco), Firewalls (Cisco), WAN, and Azure Cloud. Design & Implementation: Expertise in designing and implementing Data Center networks (Cisco), Firewalls (Cisco), WAN, and Azure Landing Zones. High-Level & Low-Level Design: Preparing High-Level Designs (HLD) and Low-Level Designs (LLD) for both Network and Security. Stakeholder Communication: Act as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for the cloud migration project, communicating key decisions and project updates. Technical Consulting: Providing expert-level consulting on infrastructure and cloud solutions, especially Azure Cloud and Data Center (Cisco). Solution Walkthrough: Lead solution walkthroughs with clients and coordinate with SMEs to implement solutions. Required Technical Skills: Experience: Minimum 14 years of experience in solution design, consultancy, and project management, especially in Tech Refresh and Relocation Projects. Networking: Expertise in Cisco technologies such as Nexus and UCS, Routing & Switching, MPLS, Dark Fiber, Metro Ethernet, Segment Routing. Azure Cloud: Architecting Azure-based cloud networking solutions, including Virtual Network, Subnets, Network Security Groups, VPN, ExpressRoute, and Load Balancers. Security: Strong knowledge of network security concepts and technologies. Infrastructure-as-Code: Familiarity with tools like Terraform and Azure Resource Manager. Cloud & Data Center Architecture: Hands-on experience designing data center architectures with Cisco Nexus and UCS and architecting cloud networking solutions in Azure. High Availability: Knowledge of Load Balancing and high-availability architectures. Solution Documentation: Prepare Bills of Materials, solution presentations, and technical documentation. Behavioral Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Excellent communication skills, both technical and non-technical. Adaptability and willingness to learn in a dynamic environment. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
