Role: Salesforce Solution Architect Location: 2 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive SE, 754 East Tower, Atlanta, Georgia 30334 || Hybrid State of GA- DECAL Job id: 752052 Duration: 6 Months NEED STATE EXPERIENCE Position will be Hybrid. Program will allow candidates who are within the state (Any location within the State of Georgia). Key Responsibilities: IES Gateway Integration: Design and implement comprehensive integration solutions between Salesforce and IES Gateway, ensuring reliable data synchronization and process automation. Solution Architecture: Develop end-to-end Salesforce solutions that effectively leverage IES Gateway capabilities for grant management and financial reporting. System Integration: Create robust integration patterns using APIs, middleware, and ETL tools to establish secure data flows between Salesforce and state systems. Technical Leadership: Guide development teams in implementing integration solutions while ensuring adherence to both Salesforce and state system standards. Compliance & Security: Ensure solutions meet federal and state security requirements, implementing proper data protection and audit mechanisms. Business Collaboration: Partner with DECAL stakeholders to gather requirements and translate complex integration needs into technical solutions. Grant Management: Design solutions that leverage IES Gateway for streamlined grant processing, financial reporting, and compliance tracking. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all integration components, including architecture diagrams, API specifications, and security protocols. Required Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field. Experience: Minimum 7+ years in Salesforce architecture and development roles. 2+ years experience with government system integrations. Proven experience with state-level eligibility systems or similar platforms. Technical Skills: Expert knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities and integration patterns. Strong experience with API design, web services, and ETL processes. Proficiency in integration technologies (MuleSoft, SOAP/REST APIs, middleware). Deep understanding of government eligibility systems and grant management processes. Essential Certifications: Salesforce Certified Application Architect Salesforce Certified Integration Architect Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I: Optional Certification: Salesforce Certified Data Architect Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills with ability to work with government stakeholders. Strong project management and documentation abilities. Leadership qualities to guide cross-functional teams. Analytical approach to solving complex integration challenges. Preferred Experience: Previous experience with state-level system integrations. Knowledge of federal grant management requirements. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies in government projects. Experience with DevOps practices for Salesforce (CI/CD pipelines, Gearset, GitHub). Skills Matrix: Salesforce architecture and development roles. Required 7 Years Experience with government system integrations. Required 2 Years Proven experience with state-level eligibility systems or similar platforms.
