This this person would be the Liaison between Infosys and Unified door Experience in implementations S/4HANA experience Don't want a support person, for right now needs to handle workshops, discussions, theocraticals Has to be able to communicate with users, translate SAP language to business language Functional, no technical skills needed experienced with SAP on the functional side, go in talk to business users, support/configure SAP side, holding SI accountable Wants someone who is willing to work hard, doesn't like to micromanage, likes go-getters Distribution role: - Sales module, experience with project systems integration with sales - Understands sales process, how it integrates with projects - Talk about how they structure sales - Functional/implementation side of things Job Title: SAP Distribution Functional Analyst (SAP Project System Integration for Project-Based Sales) Job Summary: The SAP Distribution Functional Analyst with expertise in SAP Project Systems (PS) is responsible for configuring, integrating, and managing SAP SD and PS modules to support project-based sales operations. This role involves working closely with project managers, sales teams, and IT to design SAP solutions that meet the unique needs of project-based revenue management, resource allocation, and sales distribution processes. The ideal candidate will ensure that SAP SD and PS work seamlessly to support project-based order-to-cash workflows. Key Responsibilities: 1. Requirements Gathering and Business Process Analysis Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, and sales teams to gather requirements for project-based sales, revenue management, and distribution processes. Lead workshops to document end-to-end processes, identify gaps, and assess integration points between SAP SD and PS. Translate business requirements into functional specifications for seamless integration between SAP Distribution (SD) and Project Systems (PS) modules. 2. SAP SD and PS Module Configuration Configure SAP SD for project-related sales, including sales orders, pricing, billing, and revenue recognition tailored to project needs. Customize SAP PS to enable project planning, resource tracking, cost allocation, and budget management specific to project-based sales. Ensure smooth integration between SAP SD and PS modules, coordinating closely with finance (FI/CO), materials management (MM), and warehouse management (WM) modules. 3. Solution Design and Implementation for Project-Based Sales Design SAP solutions to streamline project-centric order-to-cash processes, including contract billing, project milestones, and resource utilization tracking. Lead or participate in the implementation, rollout, and upgrade of SAP SD and PS configurations to support project-based sales. Define testing strategies, conduct integration testing and user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensure solution quality for project-specific requirements. 4. Documentation and Training Document SAP configurations, integration workflows, and troubleshooting guides specific to SD-PS project-based sales processes. Develop and deliver training materials for end-users to ensure effective adoption of integrated SD and PS functions. Maintain and update documentation and training resources as system upgrades or process changes occur. 5. Data Management and Reporting Ensure data integrity between SAP SD and PS by managing project codes, pricing, customer data, and billing information. Create and customize reports for project status, revenue, cost tracking, and resource allocation to support decision-making. Support data migration and validation during SAP implementations or upgrades. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business, Project Management, or a related field. Experience: 8-12+ years of experience with SAP SD and PS modules, with demonstrated knowledge of integration for project-based sales. Certifications: SAP certification in SD is preferred.
