REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science (CS), or a related field. Minimum of five (5) years of effective supervisory experience in an administrative position, successful service in a similar or related role Minimum of four (4) years of experience with Student Information Systems, SQL Server, and hosted application development. Minimum of three (3) years of experience in application development and management of enterprise-level systems, including at least one (1) year of successful supervisory experience in a technology-related role. Proven technical and organizational abilities to address and resolve complex technical challenges. Knowledge with student information systems and/or web-based applications. Experience with MS SQL Server and relational database management systems. Understanding of the software development life cycle (analysis, planning, development, and deployment). Knowledge of how software is placed into production and monitored. Understanding of other key information technologies such as computers, routers, servers, and associated software. Knowledge of common error identification and cleanup methodologies. Ability to manage multiple projects of varying priorities simultaneously. Experience maintaining information security awareness and follow good practices to keep system and data secure. Able to work cooperatively and effectively within a team and with other school, departmental, and administrative personnel as needed. Experience solving complex problems with strong critical thinking, analysis, and troubleshooting skills. Able to break down complex technical issues for stakeholders into less-technical terms that they can understand. Communicate effectively in both verbal and written communications. Ability to plan, develop, and communicate about error identification strategies and reporting. Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
