This role involves designing, implementing, and validating networking protocols to ensure adherence to industry standards defined by the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF). Key Responsibilities: Implement and develop software for core networking protocols (e.g., TCP, QUIC, DNS, DHCP, ARP, routing) based on RFC specifications. Design and execute conformance tests to validate protocol implementations against IETF standards. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize protocol behavior and performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate networking solutions into larger systems. Document development processes, findings, and contribute to internal knowledge sharing. Required Skills: Strong experience with RFCs and networking protocols. Proficiency in Python, C, and Swift. Demonstrated experience in protocol testing and conformance validation. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with IETF working groups or contributing to RFC drafts.
