Role: Project Engineer Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering; Masters degree preferred. 5-10 years of structural engineering experience with wireless telecommunications or broadcast towers preferred. P.E. License with the ability to obtain multi-state licensure as required. Technical communication and documentation skills. Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. Self-driven with the ability to work effectively independently or as part of a group, utilizing resources as required to complete engineering tasks successfully. Knowledge of codes and specifications: IBC, TIA-222, ASCE, etc. Proficiency in common engineering software programs: tnxTower, Risa 3D, mathcad, and Enercalc. Experience in developing construction documents and performing Mount Analyses and Structural Analyses or Assessments for Monopoles, towers, tanks, buildings, etc. Ability to manage multiple projects. Knowledge of engineering design principles with various materials such as steel, concrete, wood, and masonry, and applicable design guides and standards. Familiarity or experience with steel shop fabrication processes and/or knowledge of fabrication shop tools and capabilities is advantageous. Proficiency in using Microsoft Suite products such as MS Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook. Ability to work within a team environment with individuals from various offices and disciplines through all phases of design. Knowledge of construction practices and principles. Professional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to travel within the U.S. up to 10%. Possess a valid drivers license and meet the company's insurance carrier's criteria for coverage under the company's insurance policy.
