Key Responsibilities: Integration Design and Development: Develop integrations between Guidewire InsuranceNow and various internal/external systems using RESTful APIs, SOAP services, and other integration methods. Implement data transformations, mapping, and routing to ensure seamless data flow across applications. Work with internal teams to gather and define integration requirements, translating business needs into technical solutions. API Management and Development: Design, develop, and document APIs to facilitate communication between Guidewire InsuranceNow and external systems. Implement API security, error handling, logging, and monitoring to ensure integrations meet performance and reliability standards. Ensure API compatibility with InsuranceNow's data models and business rules. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with business analysts, system architects, and other developers to understand and implement integration requirements. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, providing updates on integration progress, blockers, and improvements. Provide technical guidance and support to team members on integration best practices and Guidewire-specific techniques. Troubleshooting and Performance Optimization: Identify and troubleshoot integration issues, including debugging errors, handling exceptions, and analyzing data flow issues. Optimize integration performance to improve response times, data throughput, and resource utilization. Conduct root cause analysis of integration-related problems, implementing corrective actions as necessary. Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to validate the functionality and reliability of integrations. Work closely with QA teams to support testing efforts, resolve defects, and ensure integrations meet quality standards. Ensure integration solutions comply with data security, privacy regulations, and organizational policies. Continuous Improvement and Documentation: Stay current with Guidewire InsuranceNow updates, integration tools, and best practices. Document integration designs, data mappings, and workflows for future reference and audit purposes. Proactively identify areas for process and performance improvements in integration solutions. Support and Maintenance: Provide ongoing support for production integrations, monitoring for issues and implementing improvements as needed. Participate in deployment activities, ensuring smooth transitions from development to production environments. Assist in the setup and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines to automate integration deployment.
