Duration: 6 months Interview Process: They are doing MS Teams video interviews Background Check (if applicable): Yes-criminal Hours / Shift: EST 8:30-5 pm full time (40 hours) Required Skills/Experience: 3+ years of related Hardware Asset Management experience Possess a solid understanding of IT asset Management policies, procedures and best practices. IAITAM certifications preferred. Excellent written and oral communication skills. This position requires writing solid process documentation that is executive-ready and able to be published to the university. It also requires communication/presentation with various members of the university community, at varying levels. Demonstrated ability to create efficiencies in asset tracking, leveraging monitoring and management tools in the environment to track asset status Must be comfortable holding others accountable for adhering to the process, and escalating according to the defined process where process exceptions occur. Experience using industry standard CMDB solutions ServiceNow HAM/CMDB preferred. Experience working with vendors and Managed Service Providers for Hardware assets. Solid working knowledge of ITSM systems ServiceNow preferred Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from an accredited college or university; or equivalent education/experience in the computer science field. Responsibilities & Duties Manage entire IT asset lifecycle: acquisition, receiving, deployment & disposal of IT Assets. IT Assets include end user devices, servers, network devices, and AV equipment. Maintain IT asset database (CMDB) to monitor and track assets. Develop, document, and mature all ITAM processes and procedures, ensuring all IT Assets are managed and controlled from procurement through disposition. Design, develop and generate reports to communicate, monitor, and manage compliance. Manage compliance, ensuring that exceptions are quickly reconciled. Coordinating with IT Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for specification and licensing information to maintain the baseline and prepare for future licensing and equipment needs.
