From: Garima, TEK Inspirations LLC [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Title: Broadcast Systems Engineer Location: 100% remote USC & GC Contract Length: 6 Months Expected Start: mid-January Expected End: mid-July C2C Rate: $65/hr all-inclusive Must-Have Qualifications Channel Mapping and/or Launch experience with a video/TV service provider such as Xfinity, WOW!, DirectTV, Verizon FIOS, YoutubeTV or Dish Network, etc... is what we're looking for. Channel Mapping and/or Launch experience working for a TV station like NBC or ABC is a different part of the business & is not what we're looking for Video and Audio compression experience Experience with Cisco (DNCS) Video Delivery Systems Responsibilities : Perform preparation work and data gathering for channels launch, build out the Method of Procedure ( " MOP ) for each maintenance window, create tickets for the maintenance window work and coordinate resources for the channel launch, and finally perform the required tasks for the channel launch A minimum of 580 channels will be launched over all 46 EC Controllers with launches to continue until specified engagement end date. A " channel launch will be considered a single channel launched across multiple controllers up to the maximum of 46 controllers, which needs to be modified either by adding, removing, or changing the source's frequency. Qualifications : Building of Unique Sources/Segments Building of Unique SAM Services Building of Unique Packages Building of Channel Maps Populate/groom Channel Maps Advanced knowledge of Video Compression: MPEG-2, MPEG-4, H264, HEVC, J2K, etc. Advanced knowledge of Audio Compression: Dolby AC3, Dolby Digital Plus, AAC, etc Experience with CISCO (DNCS) video delivery systems Keywords: green card Broadcast Systems Engineer || 100% remote [email protected] |
