The architect will be the overall lead of the project. Essential Job Functions We are looking for Senior Data Architect with sound expertise in building Data Assets / Data Warehouse on Azure ecosystem Should have background in Private Equity / Capital Market industry. This position calls for experience in strategizing cloud data warehouse architecture on the MS Azure Ecosystem. Understanding of Cloud Data Services for OLTP systems. Understanding of application architecture and deployment in cloud environments. The day-to-day responsibilities would include offering expert guidance to development teams on various facets of cloud data architecture. The architect needs to take responsibility for the project throughout their lifecycles. The role is required to design and implement vendor system integration points Technical Skills and Experience Hands on experience in architecting and designing technical solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure IaaS, PaaS and SaaS capabilities. Proficiency with Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, Azure Purview Expertise with API Integrations Expertise with Databricks. Experience with relational, graph and/or unstructured data technologies such as SQL Server, Azure SQL, Azure Data Knowledge of cloud security controls Experience with multi-tier system and service design and development for large enterprises Experience with configuration management and automation tools using Azure Integration Services Knowledge of programming and scripting languages such as JavaScript, Power, SQL, .NET, etc. Exposure to infrastructure and application security technologies and approaches Proficiently with different operating systems, viz. Windows, Mac, and Linux. Required Education & Experience 10+ years overall IT industry experience in the private Equity / capital market 5+ years leading teams and in a solution architecture role using service and hosting solutions such as private/public cloud IaaS, PaaS and SaaS platforms. Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent experience. Should be able to bring in the thought leadership in designing a cloud data architecture. Establish best practices Experience in breaking down complex technical challenges to actionable decisions and guiding project teams Demonstrated knowledge of relevant industry trends and standards Capable of delivering on multiple competing priorities with little supervision. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. This role requires a good client facing skills.
