The ideal candidate will have a strong background in planning, implementing and testing security standards. Good experience with networking security and standards including on prim and cloud system security. Job Description: Secures enterprise information by determining security requirements; o planning, implementing, and testing security systems; o preparing security standards, policies, and procedures. Plans security systems by evaluating network and security technologies; o developing requirements for local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), virtual private networks (VPNs), routers, firewalls, and related security and network devices; o designs public key infrastructures (PKIs), including use of certification authorities (CAs) and digital signatures as well as hardware and software; o adhering to industry standards on-prem, remote (DR), and cloud environments. Enhances security team accomplishments and competence by planning delivery of solutions; o answering technical and procedural questions; o teaching improved processes; o mentoring team members. Responsibilities: Define, operationalize, and document the security architecture and assessment function. Develop, standardize, and document reference architectures; specifically, zero trust architecture. Determine and apply appropriate controls and criteria for security architecture reviews.
