Job Title: Data Engineer Location: Remote (local to the NY Market (Tristate Region) to be able to go onsite 2x a month for onsite meetings. Duration: 6+ Months Contract to Hire (C2H) Visa : USC or GC Only Location : Remote (local to the NY Market (Tristate Region) to be able to go onsite 2x a month for onsite meetings. It is a Mid-level role. 5-6 years experience.) Note : We need midlevel data engineers with strong SQL, Python, Azure Preferred (will consider AWS), snowflake and data modelling skills. Top Skills: 1) Strong SQL 2) Python 3) Snowflake 4) Azure or AWS Products Internal Sizzle (Qual Call Notes, Project/Initiative + Why the role is open/Team Size) tech round 1. SQL 2. Python 3. Data Modelling. This candidate did not have Azure but was strong with AWS. He had snowflake and DBT 2-3 years of experience, Snowflake, dbt and Azure products like ADF. Willing to train if they don't have Snow, Azure or Dbt If they did Databricks / AWS - some type of cloud service. Someone who is a self-starter, take on project on their own and manage projects from start to finish. SQL is a must - if they can't pass SQL assessment then didnt spend time preparing for roles. Ask to do adjorn they can't do it. Writing that they're a SQL expert then they are lying.
