Role : Oracle DBA Location : Remote Durtion : Long Term Direct client Job Description: Oracle DB(19.0 and above) installation, support and maintenance on Windows OS. Oracle DB patching on Windows OS. Experience working with Oracle enterprise manager for DB monitoring & alerting. Troubleshoot & performance tuning of poorly performing queries, stored procedures, etc. Design & implementation of backup & recovery using RMAN. Automate routine database maintenance tasks using Power scripts or OEM. Capacity planning of DB resources i.e. CPU, memory, storage based on the data growth & changing workloads. Experience supporting multi TB transactional DB while effectively devising strategies for DB maintenance(backups, statistics, patching). Good to have Hands on experience working with an ETL tool like Azure data factory(ADF), SSIS for data movement & transformation. Hands on experience working with a reporting tool like PowerBI for dashboards. Hands on experience working with ADO(azure dev ops) GIT repositories, build & release pipelines, boards. Working in an agile environment in a scrum or Kanban setup. Database administration & support of Azure PostgreSQL database. Automate PostgreSQL DB deployment using tools like flyway from redgate. Exposure to Graph QL (hasura) and its usage. Certified in Azure fundamentals(AZ 900) while working experience within the Azure portal & managing PostgreSQL DB resources.
