Looking Onsite || Technical Architect - Cheque and Item Processing || Chicago, IL (onsite) Role name: Technical Architect Role Description: - Develop and implement technical architectures for cheque and item processing systems using VisionIP, Xvision and related tools. - Provide technical leadership for the implementation and optimization of VisionIP components including MICR, Sort Patterns, Cash Letters, Business Rules, X9, Runfiles, Orbograph, IQA, IRD, CAR/LAR and Data Navigator.- Design and oversee integrations with downstream systems such as CIPG, MECH, EDW, IMatch, GL, Infopac, CBDS, and TRIPS. - Architect and optimize secure data transfer solutions using Tibco eMFT, IPSwitch WSFTP, and IBM Connect Direct. - Ensure optimal performance for switch processing, GL reconciliation, holdover balancing, research and adjustments, EOD, settlements, and exceptions handling. - Lead the implementation and integration of enterprise duplicate detection solutions such as Conix Dupe Detection. - Design scalable and secure systems for cheque and item processing from diverse channels, including branch capture, ATMs (US and Canada), mobile devices, RDC, lockbox, and other financial institutions. - Provide architectural solutions for processing certified cheques using the CCPS application. - Oversee the deployment and optimization of FIS products such as Direct Aggregator, Direct Teller, Direct Branch, and ImageCentre. - Strong knowledge of Multi-cluster architecture using windows and proficient in Python and ETL tools like SSIS and SSRS. Competencies: Banking and Financial Technology, Enterprise Application Architect Experience (Years): 10 & Above Essential Skills: The candidate must have strong knowledge of VisionIP and its integration with downstream systems, along with hands-on experience in secure data transfers, system optimization, and architecture development. This role will involve strategic oversight, technical design, and ensuring seamless operations across diverse financial channels.- Must have hands-on experience in supporting VisionIP and its key components including MICR, Sort Patterns, Cash Letters, Business Rules, X9, Runfiles, Orbograph, IQA, IRD, CAR/LAR and Data Navigator. - Must have good hands-on experience in integrations between VisionIP and downstream systems such as CIPG, MECH, EDW, IMatch, GL, and Infopac. - Must have knowledge of data transfer tools such as Tibco eMFT, IPSwitch WSFTP, and IBM Connect Direct. - Experience with system integration, item processing technologies and data handling across diverse financial systems.- Must have a practical knowledge of certified cheque processing and error minimization using CCPS, ensuring compliance and accuracy. - Experience in image processing across diverse channels, including branch image capture, ATMs (US and Canada), mobile devices, RDC, and lockbox services. - Must have Operational Support knowledge in switch processing, GL reconciliation, EOD activities, chargebacks, returns, exception handling and settlements. - Knowledge of enterprise duplicate detection and FIS tools such as Direct Aggregator,Direct Branch, Direct Teller and FIS ImageCentre.- Strong knowledge of Python and ETL tools like SSIS and SSRS.Candidate should be /relocate to Naperville, IL for this role.
