The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of OS-level troubleshooting, access control, compliance, and security incident response. This role requires a proactive approach to security, leveraging advanced tools and best practices to maintain and enhance our security posture.Key Responsibilities:Access Management & Monitoring Create, modify, and delete user accounts and groups in Active Directory (AD) and Azure. Monitor and manage user and server onboarding to PAM solutions like CyberArk. Implement and enforce access control policies, ensuring appropriate user permissions based on roles.Security Operations Monitor Active Directory logs and alerts to detect and address potential security threats or anomalies. Investigate and respond to security incidents involving unauthorized access attempts or account compromises. Integrate PAM with monitoring tools and implement security incident response mechanisms (e.g., SOC or SIEM).Compliance & Governance Conduct regular audits of AD settings and user accounts, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. Generate compliance reports using GRC tools integrated with PAM solutions. Work with IT security teams to align with security best practices and standards, ensuring ongoing adherence to governance policies.Technical Expertise Troubleshoot and upgrade OS-level issues on Windows and Linux platforms. Utilize Power scripting for automation of AD tasks and other security operations. Ensure the implementation of security controls like LAPS, MFA, and group policy deployments.Security Awareness & Education Educate users on credential protection and other security best practices. Collaborate with the CSRM (Cyber Security Risk Management) team to lead competency-based training and awareness programs.Additional Responsibilities Oversee backup, patching, antivirus (AV) management, O365 security, and related security controls. Participate in security tool evaluations and upgrades, offering insights into implementation and integration strategies.Qualifications:Education & Experience: 6 to 10 years of experience in IT Security, with a focus on Active Directory and PAM solutions. Strong knowledge of OS platforms, including Windows and Linux.Technical Skills: Proficiency in managing Active Directory and Azure, including user account management and log monitoring. Hands-on experience with PAM tools such as CyberArk. Familiarity with SIEM tools and SOC processes for monitoring and incident response. Experience with scripting (e.g., Power) for automation and troubleshooting. Knowledge of compliance tools like GRC for audit and reporting.Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to educate and guide end-users on security best practices.Preferred Qualifications: Experience with security frameworks and governance tools.
