Duration: Long Term Contract Job Summary: Skills & Qualifications: Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of Guidewire suite (Policy Center, Billing Center, Claim Center) and Guidewire Studio. Experience with Guidewire Gosu programming language for business logic development. Proficiency in Java, SQL, XML, and web services (RESTful, SOAP). Experience with Guidewire Cloud (if applicable). Software Development: Experience with full-stack development, including front-end (HTML, JavaScript, CSS) and back-end (Java, databases). Familiarity with Guidewire Data Modeling and UI Customization. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies for project management and delivery. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Guidewire development or relevant insurance technology platforms. Familiarity with insurance industry concepts like policy administration, claims management, and billing processes is preferred. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to work with both technical and non-technical teams. Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Preferred Qualifications: Guidewire Certification (PolicyCenter, Billinenter, ClaimCenter). Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies. Knowledge of cloud-based solutions (Guidewire Cloud, AWS, Azure) and DevOps practices.
