The candidate must be a Wisconsin resident or relocate. Visa : USC , GC DETAILS: The Systems Analyst I liaises between County Information Technology (IT) and Health and Human Services. This position focuses on managing projects, training staff, implementing software, and supporting Health and Human Services users. The role includes: Resolving hardware and software issues. Acting as a liaison for IT projects with external and internal stakeholders. Managing and optimizing Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. Conducting training and documentation activities REQUIRED SKILLS: EHR administration & support. SQL/report writing. Critical thinking. NICE TO HAVE SKILLS: Complex problem-solving skills. Process improvement expertise. Professional communication skills. RESPONSIBILITIES (provided for additional understanding; required skills above are the key): Provides support for end users to solve problems or answer questions relating to department-issued hardware and software for department, county, and state systems. Identifies resolutions to complex questions from end users in a timely, positive, and professional manner. Ensure customer concerns or needs are met. Knows and understands when to expedite, escalate, and redirect issues and situations to other resources/departments. Serves as a liaison between the department staff, state system staff, and outside vendors. Coordinate IT projects with state and regional partners as required. Attend state and regional meetings as needed. Provide systems analysis, design, configuration, testing, and deployment of new technologies for the Department of Health and Human Services. Provide system applications and training systems for department employees at various virtual and in-person locations. Write and revise procedures manuals and training material. Provides support, analysis, configuration, development, testing, and implementation services for Electronic Health Records (EHR). Ensures all aspects of the EHR and related systems are operating efficiently and effectively to provide timely and secure access to vital systems and data. Reviews available software packages and makes recommendations. Reviews new products, procedures, and methods of operation. Maintains electronic records; reviews data for accuracy and quality assurance; monitors data to meet federal, state, and local performance standards. Develops, maintains, and monitors interfaces to other systems. Analyzes and evaluates users' processes and procedures for efficiency; learns and understands users' needs; requests enhancements to data systems; and recommends technology solutions. INTERVIEW PROCESS: Zoom interviews ADDITIONAL DETAILS: Position involves working with various software and system tools, especially for EHR administration. Security requirements are in place. No travel is required. Education: Associate degree in computer-related field with three to five years of experience in computer systems 2-5 years in: EHR administration & support. SQL/report writing.
