MUST HAVES: 5+ Years of experience using REACT to build dynamic and responsive web components 5+ Years of experience using JavaScript / TypeScript to implement and refactor feature rich and maintainable components 5+ Years of experience with Accessibility using tools like Axe, Deque, and Evinced ensuring components meet accessibility standards Duties: Mid-level front-end software engineer on the UI Core Engineering team responsible for shared user interface components and the adjacent build, quality, analytics, and accessibility capabilities. This is a highly collaborative team working across organizations as part of the Design System to deliver high quality and accessible components that adhere to enterprise development best practices and brand and experience standards. Products from this team are used enterprise wide. Responsibilities: Collaborate with product owners, designers, and engineering stakeholders to understand requirements, document technical tasks, and produce robust web-based components. Responsible for technical design and implementation of feature-rich, accessible, and responsive components. This includes delivery of technical documentation and meeting all accessibility, security, and code quality gates. Responsible for understanding and refactoring existing components as part of a technology refreshes or improving operations. Contribute to the overall user-experience design discussion, understanding how to transition from design to execution, and can speak to specific technical implementation considerations. Contribute to peer and community support with constructive and outcome focused feedback. Contribute to forward facing architecture and technology discussions based on existing knowledge or research of technology trends.
