Role: Snowflake Developer Location: Melvern, PA (only Locals) Duration: Contract Experience: 10+ years Key Skills: Snowflake, DBT, Data vault Visa : Only H1B with Passport Number Role Description: Responsibilities: Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and workflows in Snowflake. Build robust, modular, and scalable data models using DBT (Data Build Tool). Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and implement effective data solutions. Manage and monitor data ingestion, storage, and retrieval processes in the Snowflake data warehouse. Write efficient SQL queries for analytics, reporting, and troubleshooting purposes. Implement and enforce best practices for data governance, data quality, and data security within the Snowflake ecosystem. Develop and maintain documentation for all data models, transformations, and processes. Perform performance tuning of Snowflake queries and DBT models to ensure efficient data processing. Stay updated on Snowflake and DBTs latest features, enhancements, and industry trends to improve existing processes. Qualifications: 3+ years of experience with Snowflake and hands-on expertise in data warehouse architecture. 2+ years of experience developing data models and transformations using DBT. Proficiency in SQL with experience in query optimization. Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes and tools. Familiarity with Python for scripting and automation is a plus. Experience with version control tools like Git. Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
