In this role, you will play a key part in developing a cutting-edge mobile application tailored to meet the needs of a leading telecom provider. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative solutions that enhance user experience and drive customer engagement. Key Responsibilities: Design and Development: Build and maintain robust, scalable, and high-quality Android applications aligned with business objectives and user needs. Feature Implementation: Develop new features, optimize existing functionalities, and ensure seamless integration with back-end systems. UI/UX Collaboration: Work closely with UI/UX designers to ensure a seamless and engaging user experience. Performance Optimization: Identify bottlenecks and fix bugs to ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness. Integration: Implement APIs, SDKs, and other third-party tools essential for telecom-related services. Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code adhering to industry best practices. Agile Methodology: Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure timely delivery of features. Testing: Ensure comprehensive testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and debugging to maintain application stability. Collaboration: Liaise with product managers, back-end developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders for end-to-end project delivery. Security Compliance: Ensure the application adheres to telecom and industry-specific security standards. Required Qualifications: Experience: Minimum 5+ years of hands-on Android development experience. Technical Skills: o Proficient in Kotlin and Java for Android development . o Expertise in Android SDK, Jetpack libraries, and MVVM/MVP architecture patterns. o Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, or WebSocket integrations. o Familiarity with dependency injection frameworks (e.g., Dagger, Hilt). o Proficient in Git and version control systems. o Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools. o Knowledge of telecom-specific protocols or services (e.g., VoIP, messaging, or billing integration) is a plus. Design Skills: Strong understanding of Material Design guidelines and mobile UI/UX standards. Problem-Solving: Ability to debug complex technical issues and provide innovative solutions. Testing: Hands-on experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit, Espresso, or Mockito. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly. Teamwork: Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative, agile development environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with telecom applications or large-scale mobile applications. Knowledge of network optimization and low-latency application design. Familiarity with analytics platforms and tools for user behavior tracking. Contributions to open-source Android projects. Certification in Android development or related technologies.
