Job Description: Technical Business Analyst with Banking client experience Location: US / Remote (East & Central zone only) About the Role: We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst with strong analytical skills and hands-on experience in building APIs and file-based interfaces. In this role, you will play a critical part in the execution phase of our projects, focusing on delivering high-quality solutions and ensuring seamless integration across systems, including generating Cognos reports. While prior experience in credit risk is not mandatory, the ideal candidate should possess a strong technical background and the ability to bridge business needs with technical solutions. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements. Design and build API integrations and file-based interfaces to support project deliverables. Develop, test, and optimize Cognos reports, ensuring data accuracy and alignment with business requirements. Work closely with development teams, ensuring technical solutions meet business objectives. Provide technical insights to improve processes and system integration efficiency. Act as a liaison between business users and IT teams, facilitating clear communication and understanding. Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and troubleshoot issues during the project lifecycle. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst or similar role in technology-driven projects. Strong expertise in building APIs and file-based interfaces. Hands-on experience with Cognos reporting tools. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, execution-focused environment. Strong communication and documentation skills. [Optional] Experience with SQL, data mapping, and ETL processes is a plus. [Optional] Familiarity with credit risk or financial services is beneficial but not required. Preferred Skills: Knowledge of system integration best practices and data exchange protocols. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA or Confluence. Ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into technical requirements.
