GovCloud Development experience helpful Technical Skills: Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or related field and six years of experience Python AWS Lambda AWS Step-Functions AWS CDK GIT DockerAWS CloudTrail CloudWatch DynamoDB Angular Web UI AWS API Gateway and AWS Load Balancer AWS S3 Application Containers hosted with AWS Fargate Typescript Athena Glue Experience working in AWS GovCloud. Work Experience: This position will help support the development of an application utilizing AWS Serverless and cloud services. Working experience with Agile development methodology and roles along with experience utilizing CI/CD for building and deploying cloud applications with the Python language for backend services and Angular front-end development is important for this role Candidates must have expert knowledge (i.e., demonstrates comprehensive understanding and is viewed as a subject matter expert in the following areas: cloud technology platforms (specially AWS), programming, cloud security/recovery, cloud tools/services, DevOps and database management. Experience working as a developer writing Python code along with the Infrastructure as Code (IaC) required to deploy with AWS CDK. Experience modeling business process in AWS Step-Functions. Experience developing container-based applications utilizing REST APIs for web-based applications written with either Angular or React in Typescript. Experience utilizing AWS CloudWatch and AWS CloudTrail for logging events and audit messages, for operating in a highly regulated environment. Additionally, candidates must be able to work effectively with staff and have experience working as part of an Agile team. The candidate will be responsible for remediation and unit testing of code when issues arise as part of the CI/CD, application development and user deployment process. The candidate should be able to contribute to the design of the code they will be responsible for implementing along with the required documentation.
