DevOps Systems Engineer with JAVA Based microservices Location: Onsite, Manassas, VA Visa: No H1B/CPT SWIFT Rate: $52/Hour. Interview Procedure: MS Teams Video Interview for Non-Local Candidates / In-Person Interview for Local Candidates Description We are looking for experienced System Programmer / Administrator And With Strong Devops Expertise to join GPI Engineering team. Role is a critical role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our Java-based microservices infrastructure which encapsulates GPI Core services and well as portfolio of other GPI Value added services such as case mgmt. and PREVAL. As an DEVOPS engineer, you will work closely with development and operations teams to implement best practices and drive automation for continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: 1. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure using IaC tools such as Ansible Playbooks. Automate provisioning, scaling, and management of microservices and related components. 2. Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines for microservices using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD infrastructure such as CloudBees. Ensure fast and reliable deployments with proper monitoring and rollback strategies. 3. Monitoring and Alerting: Set up monitoring and alerting solutions (e.g., Grafana) to proactively identify and address issues. Collaborate with the team to establish SLOs. 4. Incident Response: Participate in problem resolution and respond to incidents promptly, ensuring minimal downtime and service disruption. Conduct post-incident reviews and drive improvements to prevent future incidents. Perform investigations on reported issues and work with delivery squad to find resolutions 5. Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices, perform vulnerability assessments, and ensure compliance with industry regulations. Collaborate with security teams to address vulnerabilities and security incidents. 6. Documentation : Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation of system architecture, processes, and procedures. Share knowledge with team members to enhance the overall team skillset Required Skills CICD Jenkins Pipeline - (4-5) JAVA Based microservices operational experience - (4-5) LINUX - Yes / No Scripting - Yes / No Problem investigations and Resolutions - (4-5) Test Automation of FIN Tech Services - Yes / No Web/Micro Services testing - (1-3) Following is mandatory for all the submissions : 1.
