Job Description: ROLE DESCRIPTION As an Oracle PL SQL Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing applications using Oracle databases. You will be responsible for writing complex SQL queries, optimizing database performance, and maintaining data security. You will be responsible for both production support, enhancements, project delivery on time and in the most optimal manner. You will work with both a functional team and directly with business users from time to time. You will be responsible for triage, analytical thinking, and proposing scalable solutions in the business areas of OTC, and possibly PTP. As part of your qualifications, we expect you to have knowledge not only of backend Oracle EBS backend tables, but also functional knowledge of the front end Oracle EBS forms and functionality in the areas of OTC at minimum. ROLE SNAPSHOT -Utilizes technical knowledge to develop and support projects. Works with user community and Business Process Reengineering team. Maintains updated technical skills in support of the team. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES -Design, develop and maintain Oracle PL/SQL scripts, stored procedures, packages, and triggers -Create and optimize SQL queries for maximum performance -Analyze requirements and design technical solutions to meet business needs -Perform database administration tasks such as backups, restores, and data migration -Debug and troubleshoot production issues -Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions -Maintain data security and ensure compliance with company policies and standards QUALIFICATIONS -Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field -10+ years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL development -Strong SQL programming skills -Experience in database administration and performance tuning -Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies such as Agile or -Waterfall -Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills -Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Participates in code review/solution design sessions. - Escalates issue and project progress to management. - Handles multiple projects or assigned tasks. - Java/JSP Experience a Plus - Oracle EBS Functional Experience in the areas of OTC, PTP required. Finance/Accounting experience a plus. CERTIFICATION(S) & LICENSE(S) (if applicable) - Oracle PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT (including bending, twisting, listing, or handling of biological materials or waste) n/a Comment: We are seeking a techno-functional professional with strong expertise in PL/SQL and Oracle EBS Order-to-Cash (OTC).
