We have an opening for a SAFe Scrum Master in Marysville, OH. Start date is 12/16 and will last for 7+ MONTHS need to be local to Marysville, OH and in office 3 days a week (Tuesday - Thursday ) and remote Mondays / Fridays. Skills (EXPERT/ADVANCED/NONE): SAFe Scrum Master - Hands on practitioner using SAFe/Kanban on JIRA, Confluence >10 years. Should have strong hands-on experience driving technology teams as part of the Agile scrum using SAFe. As Scrum master should have strong SAFe Agile delivery experience, hands with JIRA, hands on with Confluence, smooth handling of issues, risks, and dependencies between multiple RTE, Product owners, work stream leads and other stakeholders, vendor team & with Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Good to have experience in Automotive and manufacturing industry. should have worked on software development projects using java, J2EE or NodeJS, web application development, legacy transformations/application modernization projects on AWS or Azure Project Role Description: Acts as an enabler for the effective functioning of a software development team using Agile methodologies. Coaches and mentors, the Scrum Team(s), removing barriers to successful implementation and enabling a continued focus on the task at hand. Facilitates scrum and agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Identifies and reports progress via appropriate metrics in JIRA to assess the velocity, defect density and flow metrics Educational Qualification: Bachelor of Engineering/MS in computer science, Electronics or any related stream/discipline Summary of Technical experience: As a Scrum Master, you will facilitate and coordinate Agile Scrum processes within our team, ensuring collaborative and efficient delivery of high-quality solutions. You will work closely with the product development and technology teams to keep projects on schedule, within budget, and aligned with quality standards. Additionally, you will serve as a coach and mentor to the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and consistent achievement of objectives. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master with Strong knowledge and experience of Agile Scrum principles and practices. experience with Agile project management tools, such as Jira and Confluence is a MUST. Ability to create dashboards on Jira and share timely reports with stakeholders. Not less than 10 years of experience in IT industry and profile should have experience with the technology skills like Java, J2EE, web development projects, cloud platforms like AWS or Azure Key Responsibilities: Facilitate and coordinate Agile Scrum processes within the team. Guide and coach the team on Agile Scrum principles and practices. Ensure the team collaborates efficiently to deliver high-quality products. Work with the Product Developer to prioritize the product backlog. Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. identify and resolve obstacles hindering the team's progress. Promote continuous improvement through retrospectives and feedback sessions. Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders. Track KPIs to help teams deliver high-quality products/solutions on time. Ensure adherence to the Scrum framework and Agile principles. Needed Professional Attributes: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Proven ability to lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Ability to coordinate and handle PI planning activities with the scrum teams as part of SAFe Agile method Certification in Agile methodologies, such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM), SAFe certification and Kanban certification. Deliverables: Discuss with product owners and finalize the feature backlog for every Program Increment scrum team sizing and capacity plans for the upcoming Program increment identify, monitor and track dependencies, Risks, Issues and the over Sprint plans at ART level Actively participate and share point of views, progress updates and risks and issue during Scrum of Scrum and weekly leadership reviews drive all the Sprint ceremonies and track the retrospective actions each sprint create and Maintain Confluence page for the entire PI for the team and add/edit/monitor all aspects of the Sprints deliverables, risks, issues, dependencies including sprint level metrics drive user Story refinement /backlog grooming and story point estimation with Scrum team sprint on sprint work with cross functional stakeholders and vendor teams for a seamless delivery of sprint commitments and goals Be a guide, coach and mentor for the scrum team for a smooth SAFe agile transformation of the project and program work closely with RTE and work stream leads and unblock team for all impediments create and monitor JIRA dashboard for reporting Agile metrics and drive the Kanban flow as part of the daily standup work with RTE, Product owners and work stream leads on MURAL board during PI planning and drive the plans for the scrum team Demonstrated ability and be able to understand the technical and functional scenarios and challenges at Sprint / scrum team level and also at overall program level Profile meeting the above criteria should Apply.
