http://bit.ly/4ey8w48 https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=1993292&uid= Position: NodeJS Developer (3-4) Location: 3x/week onsite in Hartford, CT (151 Farmington Ave);; OK with people who need to relocate to Hartford, CT for day 1 Duration: 9-month contract + potential conversion Start Date: ASAP must start 2 weeks from offer Interview Process/Times: technical test for people theyre interested in + in person interview in Hartford, CT C2C Competition/Internal HR: It just opened yesterday, she sent out to 2 other partners but she has not connected with them yet Reason for opening + Role: application is on prem and they want to migrate IIB application to the cloud and change underlying database DB2 to PostGres and IIB to Node JS (offshore team is IIB focused, less important than NodeJS and GraphQL) Migrate all applications -- migrate this application in 6 months Team: They follow scaled agile; she has 2 teams, onshore/offshore (India); 16-18 team members in total (running lean) Project timeline: Project starting Jan 1, Complete by June deadline, then production deployment planning June-Sept, Sept is go live and take plug out from on prem application Required Qualifications 5+ years of professional software development experience. 3+ years of NodeJS development with TypeScript; 2+ years of Cloud Experience; preferably with Amazon Web Services (AWS) 1+ year of experience working in an Agile-based development environment using Agile concepts such as Continuous Integration (CI/CD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD) Strong experience with monitoring and observability and building scalable services Understanding of various database solutions (SQL, NoSQL) Experience developing GraphQL APIs Preferred Qualifications Exposure to product/services development, cloud-based platforms is highly preferred (i.e. Azure, GCP, AWS) Excellent verbal, written communication, and collaboration skills.
