Role- Information System Security Officer Location - Plano TX (Onsite) Role Description: Works under general direction of middle/senior level management and/or Project Manager. Works as a team member on projects responsible for completing basic project management tasks, specifically to create and track remediation plans for identified system risks in Archer. Project tasks are typically well defined and less complex in nature and follow a repeatable framework. Provide status report for tracking tasks, issues, and risks. Ensure adherence to quality standards and review project deliverables. Works from detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, and status reports created by a program manager or supervisor. Plans and assigns remediation tasks under the direction of middle/senior level management or Project Manager. Coordinates and/or assists remediation activities Facilitates standard process, procedures, and controls Coordinates day-to-day risk management activities with the organization for identifying, assessing, prioritizing, and remediating risks. Captures risk, assessments, and management actions in a risk register. Assist middle/senior level management and/or project manager with liaison activities with internal AT&T audit, compliance, regulatory, security and operations. Facilitate compliance with standard process, procedures, and controls Attends project/engagement meetings and is responsible for project task tracking. Communicates to internal project/engagement team members. Essential Skills: Job DescriptionAnalyst performing governance, risk, compliance & audit activities under the direction of program manager or mid/senior level management. Responsible for day-to-day risk development and tracking of Remediation Plans derived from System Security Plan findings. Primary activities working with the organization for prioritizing and creating remediation plans in Archer to track ownership and mitigation of reported risks. This includes tracking risks, assessments, and mitigating actions in a risk register. Responsible for completing project/engagement activities under the direction of project manager or mid/senior level management. The incumbents are responsible for meeting the project requirements by applying project management skills, tools, and techniques to follow the project scope, quality, schedule, budget, resources, and risk guidelines. Desirable Skills: Preferred Experience and Attributes Must possess knowledge and expertise in the use of project management methodologies and tools, resource management practices and change management techniques (e.g. ServiceNow Project, Visual Task Boards, Reporting). Must possess knowledge and expertise in the use of risk management methodologies and tools (e.g. ServiceNow GRC, Control Frameworks). Experience working with ServiceNow GRC, Archer, or equivalent preferred. Experience with projects in one or more technologies and multiple functions. Working knowledge of IT Security industry processes and regulations. An analytical mindset with excellent organizational skills. Attention to detail in order to identify and correct risky practices. Must be a strong communicator and capable of expressing oneself clearly both speaking and in writing. Possess a collaborative personality and be open to suggestions from team members. Exemplify working knowledge of IT Security industry protocols and best practices. Strong analytical skills and ability to accurately interpret complex documents and policies. Utilize time management and organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines. Should have a strong moral code and sense of ethics. Associate degree or Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related discipline. (Or equivalent work experience.) Project Management experience or equivalent preferred. Security +, CISSP, Network +, or equivalent preferred.Requirements US Citizen and must be able to pass background check(s). 2-4 years of IT work experience. 1-3 years of IT Audit experience. 1-2 years managing projects.
