Role: Vertex AI Engineer Location: Alpharetta, GA (only Locals or Nearby) Duration: Contract Experience: 10+ years Visa : Only H1B with Passport Number Role Description: Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain ML workflows and pipelines on the Vertex AI platform. Automate model deployment, monitoring, and retraining processes using Vertex AI Pipelines. Optimize ML workflows for scalability, reliability, and performance in a cloud environment. Work with data scientists to operationalize models by integrating them with the Vertex AI platform. Ensure seamless integration of models with backend services and APIs. Implement secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure using Google Cloud (GCP) services. Monitor and optimize cloud costs, ensuring efficient resource utilization. Develop tools for model monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting within the Vertex AI ecosystem. Proactively identify and address issues related to data, pipelines, and infrastructure. Document architectural decisions, workflows, and operational procedures. Establish and enforce best practices for MLOps, including CI/CD for machine learning models. Qualifications: Required Skills: Strong experience with Vertex AI, including Pipelines, Model Registry, and Endpoints. Proficiency in Python and common ML libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn). Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Functions. Knowledge of MLOps tools and practices (e.g., CI/CD, monitoring, version control). Understanding of containerization tools like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to optimize AI workflows for efficiency and scalability. Preferred Skills: Hands-on experience with Kubeflow, TFX, or similar frameworks. Familiarity with DataOps concepts and tools like Apache Beam or Airflow. Google Cloud certifications (e.g., Professional Machine Learning Engineer, Professional Cloud Architect). Experience with distributed training and serving large-scale ML models.
