The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, expertise in DBT (Data Build Tool), and hands-on experience working with Workday APIs or connectors. This role is critical for enabling seamless data integration, ensuring data quality, and supporting analytics and reporting needs. Responsibilities: Pipeline Development: Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines to ingest data from Workday into Snowflake using DBT. Data Transformation: Develop and optimize DBT models to clean, transform, and standardize data for reporting and analytics. Workday Integration: Collaborate with Workday administrators and utilize APIs or ETL tools to extract relevant data efficiently. Data Quality Assurance: Implement validation and testing mechanisms to ensure high data quality and reliability throughout the pipelines. Performance Optimization: Optimize Snowflake and DBT workflows to enhance pipeline efficiency and reduce costs. Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of pipeline architecture, DBT models, and operational workflows. Qualifications Required: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. 3+ years of experience in data engineering with hands-on expertise in DBT and Snowflake on AWS. Experience with Workday integration, including Workday APIs or Workday-specific ETL/ELT tools. Strong SQL skills and experience in writing complex queries for data transformations. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines for DBT projects. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
