Role: Project Manager Location: Remote Note: No CPT/OPT/GC/H1B Minimum 8+ years Pay Rate: $55/hr on C2C Overview: A public sector client of ours in Austin, Texas is looking for a Project Manager for a 6-month remote contract opportunity that is expected to extend. Due to the nature of the role, they are currently only considering remote candidates in or around the Austin area. This role performs IT Project Management duties in support of Cloud Migration. Responsibilities include consultation with many aspects of the Infrastructure and Operations team. IT project management includes managing operation action plans. Minimum Job Qualifications: 7 years required : Extensive experience performing all aspects of IT project management duties in large data center environments, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. 5 years required : Perform IT Project Management duties in support of Cloud Migration for Data Center Services and Operations. 5 years required : Provide consultative work, including program guidance, status reporting, and collaborating with various levels of management. Understand IT procurement procedures and budget forecast/analysis. 5 years required : Increase visibility into the allocation of Data Center Services projects, resources, funds, hardware, and software. 5 years required : Excellent at monitoring project deliverables and milestones to ensure they are met according to the project plan. 5 years required : Ability to facilitate effective communication between team members and stakeholders. 5 years required : Experience working closely with internal and external vendors and/or service providers to ensure operations requirements are appropriately provisioned. 5 years required : Experience reviewing critical operational initiatives and regulatory documents. 5 years required : Experience with Cloud services providers, such as AWS and Azure. 5 years required : Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures of cloud technology. 5 years required : Experience with senior-level leadership reporting and communication. Familiar with various levels of reporting tools. Preferred Job Qualifications 3 years preferred : Experience working on government fiscal and budget management supporting data centers. 3 years preferred : Experience with security assessments, security audits, and collaborating with IT departments to maintain security compliance. 3 years preferred : Experience with Cloud service provider native tools to manage cost. 2 years preferred : Experience using Remedy, ITSM, PPM, Archer, Jira, and ServiceNow. 2 years preferred : Experience preparing and tracking security exemption requests.
