Role: SDET Location: San Jose, CA (only Locals) Duration: Contract Experience: 10+ years Note: Need Prior experience with Cisco Visa : Only H1B with Passport Number Role Description: Who You'll Work With: You will join a dynamic and empowered team of interconnected engineers and technical leaders/architects who are passionate about building, supporting, and enhancing a seamless, end-to-end automated usability experience. Our team is dedicated to meeting the third-party software license compliance needs for all products, platforms, and services across Cisco Business Entities (BEs). What youll do: Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for cloud-deployed microservices applications. Perform automated and manual testing using tools such as Selenium, JMeter, and Postman. Conduct performance testing and load testing to ensure system stability and scalability. Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to integrate testing into the CI/CD pipeline using tools like Jenkins and Git. Write and execute SQL queries to validate data integrity and accuracy. Identify, document, and track software defects using issue tracking tools. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure code quality. Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance product quality. Who you are: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Proven experience as a QA Engineer, specifically in testing cloud-deployed microservices applications. Strong proficiency in automated testing tools such as Selenium and JMeter. Experience with API testing using Postman. Solid understanding of SQL and experience writing complex queries. Proficiency with version control systems like Git. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, particularly Jenkins. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Detail-oriented with a passion for delivering high-quality software. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with performance testing and load testing. Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or JavaScript. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
