From: Barla Santosh, Gacsol [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Title: WebSphere Lead SME Location: NC, Cary, United States (Onsite) Job Description: The WebSphere Application Administrator with 7+ year of relevant experience with deep expertise in WebSphere administration and architecture, working with development, security, and operations teams tensure reliable, scalable, and secure environments. Responsible for managing WebSphere application server platform, good experience on handling upgrade / migration projects, deployment, configuration, and support of WebSphere Application Server environments. Install, configure, and maintain IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS) environments (both traditional and Liberty). Perform version upgrades, patches, and fixes tensure systems remain up-to-date and secure. Design and implement high-availability solutions including clustering and load balancing. Manage day-to-day administration of WebSphere environments, including performance tuning and capacity planning. Set up and manage WebSphere Network Deployment topologies. Perform backups, monitoring, and disaster recovery planning for WebSphere environments. Provide level-4 SME support for WebSphere-related issues, including diagnosing and resolving performance bottlenecks, outages, and application deployment issues. Work with development and operations teams ttroubleshoot applications hosted on WebSphere. Analyze and resolve configuration conflicts, errors, and performance issues in WebSphere environments. Develop scripts tautomate administrative tasks and streamline processes (using ansible, Python, , etc.). Implement automation for deployment and scaling of WebSphere resources. Manage WebSphere security including SSL configurations, user authentication, and access control. Ensure that WebSphere environments comply with corporate security policies and industry standards. Work closely with cross-functional teams (networking, database, security, and developers) tmaintain and improve WebSphere environments. Collaborate on architecture reviews, infrastructure designs, and application deployments. Excellent communication, Lead and mentor a team of WebSphere administrators, providing guidance and training tjunior staff. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong leadership and mentoring skills. Ability twork in a team environment and collaborate across departments. Problem-solving mindset with a focus on delivering results.
