From: Sudhanshu Shekhar, Vyze [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Description - Job Title: Technology Product Owner Location: Remote (must be able to go onsite (5) days per quarter) Duration: 6+ Months Visa: USC/GC Rate: $60/hr. This is a remote, 6+ month contract position. We are looking for individuals with a strong background in defining the vision for digital application products and driving the planning, prioritization, and execution of backlogs to deliver new features that align with our strategic goals in the Education Technology (EdTech) industry. Key Responsibilities: Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements with clear and concise acceptance criteria. Participate in prioritization and requirements refinement sessions. Define features and stories for technical breakdown and planning, ensuring all requirements are well understood by the delivery teams. Ensure consistent quality of production-ready deliverables by conducting or coordinating Quality Assurance Testing. Coordinate frequently with relevant delivery teams to ensure successful completion of competing priorities and deadlines. Utilize both Waterfall and Agile methodologies to manage workloads, communicate progress, and ensure timely completion of deliverables. Provide ongoing business process, business capability, and product knowledge to relevant delivery teams, contributing to the knowledge base to avoid single points of failure. Progress all deliverables to done status, meeting acceptance criteria by coordinating production deployment, post-implementation analysis/feedback, and ongoing support plans. Requirements: Bachelors Degree 5+ years of Product Ownership/Product Management experience in an Agile, SaaS Technology environment, or equivalent methodology. Experience as a business/customer liaison, not just a Business Analyst or order taker. Salesforce experience, specifically with Lightning and Communities Cloud, is essential. Ability to interact with all levels within the organization and work in a fast-paced environment with multiple initiatives. Proven ability to manage a variety of business, IT, and vendor resources, including managing vendor deliverables based on agreed contracts and statements of work. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions with minimal supervision. Strong analytical skills to resolve issues and determine effective business and alternative IT solutions. Capability to influence and instill credibility in sponsors, peers, and subordinates by meeting initiative milestones, deadlines, and budget.
