In this role, you will be responsible for designing and configuring web forms for citizens with workflow automation using a cloud-based government modernization platform (ideally SimpliGov), adhering to strict design guidelines. Your work will emphasize usability and accessibility, ensuring that forms are easy to navigate and use for a wide range of users, including those with disabilities. A keen understanding of web and mobile design, especially related to layout and responsiveness, is essential. Skill REST API Proficiency in prototyping tools such as Figma or Adobe XD Strong understanding of user experience (UX) principles and user-centered design Expertise in web accessibility standards (WCAG compliance) and best practices Experience with front-end development (HTML, CSS, some JavaScript) Visual design skills tailored to web and mobile platforms Ability to develop interactive web forms and workflows Browser compatibility testing across different platforms and devices Familiarity with responsive design techniques for mobile and desktop Strong attention to detail in layout, typography, and visual hierarchy Knowledge of usability testing and gathering user feedback Collaboration with stakeholders and cross-functional teams Experience with form-building tools like SimpliGov, Microsoft Forms, WuForm or Formstack Basic understanding of business rule testing and workflow validation Power BI SQL Querying Keywords: user experience business intelligence North Carolina Technical Specialist- Junior (750336)-NC-DOT-Hybrid [email protected] |
