Job Title: Embedded firmware developer Duration : 6 months and to be renewed. Location : North Carolina work from office 3 -4 days a week Key skills : Experience in Embedded firmware development. Programming experience: C/C++, Python and Bash. PLDM (Platform Level Data Model) experience Strong knowledge on NC-SI - network controller sideband interface Strong Experience in Systems Management ( BMC ) and/or embedded processors. Good to know I2C and IPMI protocols. Good to have experience with Linux operating system. Who are we looking for 4 to 6 years experienced software engineers to write, debug and test embedded Firmware. Manage and maintain firmware build tools, manage builds, and release Firmware to test as well as recreate and fix problems reported by the test team. Duties may include code development, unit testing, debugging, and customer support for technical issues. Technical Skills: Experience in Embedded firmware development. Programming experience: C/C++, Python and Bash. PLDM (Platform Level Data Model) experience Some level of experience in CUDA Toolkit Strong knowledge on NC-SI - network controller sideband interface Strong Experience in Systems Management ( BMC ) and/or embedded processors. Good to know I2C and IPMI protocols. Good to have experience with Linux operating system. Working knowledge of Linux Kernel programming and Linux driver development. Proficient with Git source version control system. Intimate knowledge of software development processes expected. Knowledgeable of Agile methodologies and tools. Proficient Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and debug methodology skills expected Proficient at recognizing complex problems related to functional objectives. Applies creativity and judgment to developmental work on different projects within the business environment. Analyze situations and implement solutions, or develop new system elements, procedures, or processes. Process Skills: Proficient with CI/CD tools like Jenkins. Experience building and testing automation tools for infrastructure provisioning. Behavioral Skills : Ability to engage as an independent professional; articulate and compare alternative approaches. Capable of providing creativity and judgment to professional, technical, or operational problems. Capable of controlling own work priorities and methods requiring tradeoffs. Provides advice in technical/operational domain of specialization. Understands departmental mission and vision.
