Job Title: Mainframe DBA Location: Irving, TX (Hybrid) Duration: Long Term Mainframe developer will not work Requirements :- Administration of databases throughout the development and production lifecycles. Creation and execution of DDL/DCL for managing DB2 databases. Maintenance procedures using DB2 Utilities (COPY, REORG, MODIFY, RECOVER) Conduct performance monitoring and tuning activities on DB2 databases. Reviewing and maintaining security procedures across the DB2 databases. Work with DB2 z/OS System support staff on installation/upgrade efforts. Provide mentorship to group members and help develop and support junior level staff. Provide advice and support to development resources. 24x7 on-call support rotation.
