Summary: Seeking a highly skilled Data Warehouse Analyst/Developer to join their IT Data Solutions team. This role will focus on maintaining and enhancing a critical data mart that manages their Texas Acquisition Database. The client has inherited responsibilities of the DataMart through re-org and would like the consultant to help facilitate knowledge transfer between her team and the legacy group in the organization. Once this is done, they will assist in data cleansing and migrating the data to a new server. The ideal consultant will possess strong technical expertise in Oracle PL/SQL, Documentation skills, some Informatica, Unix, and proven experience in data warehousing and system migrations. This role will require a lot of documentation, enhancements, and data cleansing along with some ETL work. Key Responsibilities Knowledge Transfer & Documentation: Gain a thorough understanding of the existing data model, scripts, and workflows. Document current functionality and business rules. Work with Team to develop best path forward in their migration Production Support: Monitor and troubleshoot batch processes using Control-M, maybe some off-hours support during weekdays and weekends. Re-run or restart failed jobs, collaborating with the offshore team as needed. Development & Enhancements: Write and enhance PL/SQL scripts. Migrate existing scripts from local systems to Informatica workflows and automate processes. Assist in migrating data between on-prem Oracle servers. Collaboration: Work closely with the Architect and Sr. Developer on the data warehouse team. Partner with business users and stakeholders to refine processes and clean up data models. Data Cleansing & Optimization: Assist in streamlining the database, removing unnecessary columns, and improving performance. Maintain updated documentation to reflect changes. Required Skills & Qualifications Technical Proficiency: PL/SQL development. in Unix scripting. Extensive experience in a data warehouse environment. Proficiency with Informatica workflows preferred Additional Skills: Strong documentation and communication abilities. Experience with SAP data integrations (preferred).
