Role Name: Data Governance Analyst San Jose, CA-Onsite Role Description: Collect, clean, and preprocess data from various sources for accuracy and integrity. Develop and maintain interactive PowerBI dashboards and reports for decision-making support. Collaborate with teams to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable insights. Conduct detailed data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and provide recommendations. Document data processes, dashboard designs, and analytical methodologies. Ensure data security and compliance with company and industry regulations. Stay updated with trends in data analytics, PowerBI, and business intelligence tools. Provide training and support to end-users on using PowerBI dashboards. Competencies: Data Concepts & Data Modelling Experience: 8-10 years Essential Skills: Bachelors degree in data science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role. Proficiency in PowerBI (DAX, Power Query, data modeling). Strong skills in SQL and experience with database management systems (SQL Server, Oracle). Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Strong communication skills for presenting complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
