Create complex data models using Snowflake Schema and optimize data pipelines. ETL Design and Implementation: Build and optimize ETL pipelines using tools like Informatica, Talend, or native Snowflake capabilities. Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading processes efficiently. SQL and Scripting: Write and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures for reporting and analytics. Develop scripts for automation and process improvement. Performance Optimization: Monitor and enhance Snowflake performance through tuning techniques. Address bottlenecks and optimize data storage and access. Integration: Collaborate with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker for data visualization. Ensure seamless integration of Snowflake with upstream and downstream systems. Security and Governance: Implement robust security measures including role-based access controls. Maintain data privacy and compliance with organizational standards. Collaboration: Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions. Participate in Agile processes and provide input on project timelines.Requirements: Technical Skills: 5+ years of experience in data engineering and at least 2 years in Snowflake development. Strong proficiency in Snowflake features like SnowSQL, SnowPipe, and Time Travel. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Hands-on expertise in SQL, Python, and/or JavaScript for Snowflake-related tasks. Familiarity with data warehousing principles and dimensional modeling. ETL and Integration: Proficiency with ETL tools like Informatica, Talend, or equivalent. Knowledge of data integration and API management. Soft Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently as well as in team environments. Strong analytical and organizational abilities. Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
