This is a hybrid role, and an in-person interview is required Position: Software Test Analyst Location: Hybrid (Onsite in Dimondale, MI Tuesdays and Wednesdays) Duration: 1 Year (with potential for extension) Job Summary: The Software Test Analyst will support all testing activities for the Treasury division within the Department of Technology Management and Budget. The role involves collaborating with development and business teams to ensure effective quality assurance for new and updated systems. Candidates must be local and able to work onsite two days per week. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and third-party teams during requirements, development, and testing phases. Create, execute, and monitor test scripts and scenarios to validate acceptance criteria of customer requirements. Perform functional, integration, and regression testing while ensuring appropriate test coverage. Track, report, and coordinate defect management and retesting activities. Prepare and maintain test documentation, including scripts, schedules, and progress reports. Conduct Quality Assurance checks to ensure the delivery of fit-for-purpose code to test environments. Communicate and provide reports on test progress, risks, and results to stakeholders. Participate in requirement verification workshops and test-dependent meetings to prioritize test scenarios and cycles. Provide support to other test team members and business resources for testing activities. Required Skills and Experience: SAP Financials (Tax and Revenue Management [TRM] preferred). Experience in web-based testing with customer-facing interactions. Proficiency in test planning, test execution, defect tracking, and requirement analysis. Familiarity with QA tracking tools such as SolMan Test Suite, HPALM, TFS, or RQM. Preferred: Experience in automation testing. Top Skills & Years of Experience: 4+ years of experience with SAP Financials (TRM ). 3+ years of experience in web-based testing and test management tools. Strong skills in test planning, execution, and defect tracking. Preferred experience with Angular and automation testing tools. Bachelors degree in a related field. Work Conditions: Hybrid schedule: Onsite two days per week (Tuesday and Wednesday). Local candidates only. Candidates must reside within commuting distance of Dimondale, MI.
