http://bit.ly/4ey8w48 https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=200462&uid= From: Jayanth, Avance Consulting [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Hello Title: GCP Architect Location: Chicago, IL (Onsite From Day 1) Duration: 12+Months Job Description: Hybrid Cloud Solutions Design Specialist Strategic Planning and Direction Maintain architecture principles, guidelines and standards Cloud Architecture governance Products comparisons and technology roadmaps Ability to understand and build innovative pricing models to make perfect balance between technical Solution, commercials Manage cost visibility of public cloud platform, specifically GCP Monitor cloud spend and create budget alerts Review & recommend the FinOps tool Facilitate the implementation of FinOps tool Conduct periodic reports and regular reviews of cloud spend with Google Cloud Billing Console & with other FinOps tool Manage cloud commitments (CUD, Saving Plans, RI) & suggest use of Preemptible or Spot instances, wherever suitable Identify unused resources and schedule decommissioning Optimize existing resources by rightsizing instances Optimize architecture by migrating to scalable resources Define the FinOps framework and roadmap Support Finance for budgeting forecast and Enterprise agreements with providers Become the bridge between Finance, Product Owners & Cloud Engineers Advocate FinOps principles in day-to-day operations & induce FinOps culture within the stakeholders Bachelors degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology or other relevant fields At least 3-5 years of experience on public cloud platforms and at least 2 years of exposure to GCP billing management Associate or Professional level certified candidate in GCP is a plus FinOps Certified Practitioner is an additional advantage Good understanding of GCP Billing methodology and GCP Organization & Project structure Good understanding of instance types, storage types & of other GCP services Good understanding of cost drivers for cloud resources Capable to consolidate data and deliver aggregate view/report Understanding of variable cost models for cloud resources Possess moderate verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with technical and nontechnical personnel at various levels in the organization and with vendors Keywords: http://bit.ly/4ey8w48 https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=200462&uid= |
