Qualifications and Requirements Education: Bachelors degree and 5 years of relevant work experience. Visualization Tools: At least 3 years of experience with Tableau and/or Power BI. Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Oracle products (Oracle 19c, RDBMS, PL/SQL procedures). Expertise in data migration, data modeling, and ETL processes. Software Skills: Strong experience with O365 applications, especially Microsoft Excel. Other Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience in government financial management. Ability to conduct research and document findings effectively. Job Summary The IT Data Visualization Architect will design and develop visualizations and dashboards for the agency's divisions, supporting both statewide and internal partners. This role involves requirements gathering, data modeling, visualization design, and training on-site staff in visualization tools. Key Roles and Responsibilities Design and develop data-driven applications and dashboards in Tableau or Power BI (both preferred; experience with at least one required). Conduct thorough data validation to ensure accuracy and consistency. Align agency infrastructure with industry best practices. Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable business objectives. Manage projects independently to meet deadlines and deliverables. Perform additional duties as assigned.
