Onsite 5 days Location-Waukegan, IL Experience required 10+ yrs Must to have skills: 1)Looking for LUW DBAs not mainframe DBAs. 2) Strong in HADR concepts High Availability Disaster Recovery. 3)Expertise in Database Installation and Configuration: Installing and configuring Db2 LUW ( (Linux/Unix/Windows platform) database software on servers. 4)Strong in HADR, performance tuning, backup and recovery, security management and troubleshooting 5) Last time client rejected most of the candidates for following reasons candidates are lacking in HADR, trouble shooting and performance tuning, workload management, back-up and recovery as we are not looking for just conceptual knowledge, but has to be strong enough in scenario based questions. Additional details below: 1)Comple onsite work all 5days a week. Dress code Mon to Thursday formally dressed up wearing tie (must). 2)Make sure candidates are willing to relocate, travel resources are not considered. (note - Candidates must be available from day 1 of joining for the 5 days complete onsite work by finding a temporary accommodation initially but however must be willing to relocate completely within 2 to 3 months. 3)This will be long-term projects with multiple extensions; hence candidate relocation is must.
