Top 3-5 Technical Skills Hands on experience with Network Migration Projects Hands on experience with Network Refresh Projects Hands on experience in MDFs and IDFs by decommissioning and installing network hardware Hands on experience with Cisco Network switches and routers Project Scope/Details/Responsibilities Network Engineer will be responsible for supporting network migrations. Timeline to start/fill: Interviews available for 12/10, 12/12 12/16. 12/17 & 12/19. Decision in December 2nd week of January start. Scope of Work Network Engineer will be responsible for supporting network migrations, under the guidance of DGIT Network senior staff. Tasks include network documentation, refresh hardware, and assisting in projects to improve the organizations IT infrastructure. 1. Objectives Provide on-site network support in accordance with IT policies and implement them effectively Provide on-site support on a variety of network hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems Communicate regularly and effectively with the network staff Maintain and analyze switches and routers Coordinate hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors 1. Skills and Qualifications Hands on experience with Network Migration Projects Hands on experience with Network Refresh Projects Hands on experience in MDFs and IDFs by decommissioning and installing network hardware Hands on experience with Cisco Network switches and routers Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or technical degree preferred Ability to provide on-site field technical services for clients with a friendly demeanor Support end-user devices and ensure proper connectivity to the network.
